Dorothy Vicary is a retired primary teacher. During her
teaching career she has been involved in School Writing
Camps and has participated in organising Creative Writing
Activities for schools during the Year of Literacy.
She has always had a keen interest in writing and has read
some of her poetry to social justice groups involved in
Indigenous issues.
At present she is working on a novel, The Byrd's Nest
set in Sydney during the 1940s to 1950s. |
