Leslee Anne was born in Melbourne, and spent most of her early childhood in Queensland. Her family moved to New Zealand when she was ten, and she headed for Europe at nineteen on a working holiday. After working in Dublin, London, Ibiza, and Amsterdam over a five-year period she travelled home to NZ via Israel, Jordan and Asia.

Whilst overseas, Leslee Anne’s training as a stenographer provided temporary and permanent office positions. She also worked as a tour guide in the idyllic island of Ibiza, Spain. On returning to NZ she headed for Queenstown on another working holiday and found employment as a part-time farm hand on a beef cattle station, and kitchen hand in one of the local popular restaurants. When she wasn’t working every spare hour was spent on the ski slopes. She moved back to Australia and whilst working in Jabiru, NT met her husband, Greg. They now reside in Brisbane with their three children.

Leslee Anne joined the Carindale Writers’ Group and benefits from the encouragement and friendship given by its many fine members. She enjoys writing poetry and children’s stories.
