Born in Dublin, Ireland.

Left Ireland in his late twenties and spent some 18 years working as a priest in the Solomon Islands where he taught in various schools on Guadalcanal and Malaita and also organised marketing cooperatives.

Has been in Australia for over twenty years, married, and worked in the Probation Service until retirement.

Became interested in writing late, rather than early in life, and has had a few short stories published. Likes writing humorous pieces and enjoys observing (and writing about) animals as well as people.

The illusive big novel is still out there – somewhere!
