Carindale Writers' Group
Carindale Writers' Group was founded in 2000. Since then writers of all genres have crossed our threshold to become ultimately successful writers. Although many have come and gone over the years some have been with us from the group's inception, while other members joined just this year.
We meet twice a month, featuring the writing of two of our members for critique on each occasion. We write to a theme for each meeting, giving everyone a chance to be involved. There is always something to learn from these invaluable discussions: about writing style, plot holes, layout, point of view and so much more.
The group provides an opportunity for peer-based critique, advancement of your writing skills, and social engagement. The writing process is not a lonely one when you have the support and encouragement of a long-established writers' group and when you can share in the knowledge and experience of its members.
Carindale Writers' Group also functions as a link to the broader writing community, with constant updates on writing competitions, seminars and workshops.
So far we have completed seven collections of work: Our sixth, Encounters, was published in 2016 and our latest one, Nailbiters - Not for the Nervous, was unveiled in June 2019. Both are available to buy from Amazon.
If you are interested in attending one of our meetings or would simply like more information, please get in touch.
